Perfect half day tour

This is the perfect trip if you want to go see Neuschwanstein but not spend an entire day doing so. It was also a decision we made only 48 hours in advance which was too late to buy our own tickets for the castle. They provided the train tickets, the castle tickets, and transportation between the train and the castle and I was happy to pay for that so I did not have to do the work. We had just enough extra time to take photos of the scenery and do a little souvenir shopping. If you want to slow roll it and spend more time at the castle or in the town, then this is probably not the tour for you.
Magical Castle Tour

Tour as advertised. Tour rep met us at Munich train station and made sure that we got to Neuschwanstein Castle via train/car & that we were safely on the train back to Munich afterwards.

The tour of the castle is provided by a rep of the castle and accompanied by an audioguide. The tour itself is fairly short but well organised.

The castle itself is well worth the effort made to get there. The outside is magical the insides are spectacular and the views from the balcony will take your breath away.

It's essential to make sure that you have pre-booked tickets as the queues for tickets onsite are long.
Amazing trip with Viator

Our guide was superb, he was very professional since the beginning at the meeting point until the end on our way back.
Again Viator provided the best.
What a great trip! I...

What a great trip! I would definitely recommend this excursion to anyone wanting to visit the Neuschwanstein castle. The half-day trip was perfect for us, we were able to see the bridge, castle(exterior), tour the castle (interior) and still had time to walk around downtown and grab a quick bite to eat.

Normal trip

The castle is like fairy tale and really nice to visit it. I would recommend to take tour that includes few castles but not just one. The I spent about total 6 hours +, but the actual visit time is only 45 minutes. Others are waiting and transportation time.
